Nara is an old city that was capital of Japan in AD 710-794, just 1.5 h from Kansai International Airport by bus (leaving every hour from 6:00 to 21:00). Nara is a fascinating and beautiful town. It is filled with natural beauty and old temples and shrines including Todaiji Temple (famous for having the world largest Buddha bronze statue, 5 min on foot from the Congress hall) and Kofukuji temple. WCARP-V will be held in the Nara Prefectural New Public Hall
(,which features a main room outfitted to be a Japanese Noh-theater.
